Mushroom Cultivation Training Completed at MyanSEED Farm
We successfully completed a hands-on mushroom cultivation training at MyanSEED Farm & Knowledge Hub, combining theory and field-based practice under our permaculture, regenerative agriculture and circular economy principles focusing on local resource utilization, and market-led production.
Hope All the participants enjoyed and gained practical experience in rice straw mushroom and oyster mushroom cultivation, covering the full production cycle:
- Preparation of locally available substrates
- Safe inoculation and contamination control
- Crop management (humidity, temperature, watering, and observation)
- Harvesting and post-harvest handling for quality and shelf life
- Basic marketing, pricing, and value-added products
The training emphasized turning agricultural waste into nutritious food and income, supporting low-input, climate-smart, and market-oriented farming systems.
